Nigerian content creators and entertainment personalities are set to gather in Lagos for the second edition of PluggedIN, an event focused on strengthening partnerships between digital creators, brands and advertising agencies.
The event, organised by Woof Studios Africa in partnership with Insight Redefini, is scheduled for October 22, 2026, in Victoria Island, Lagos. Actress and media personality Bisola Aiyeola will host the gathering.
Among the personalities expected to participate are health content creator Aproko Doctor, comedian Taaooma, skit maker Layi Wasabi and actress Osas Ighodaro.
Other expected participants include filmmaker Biodun Stephen, actress Bolaji Ogunmola, comedian Craze Clown, media personality Kiekie and food creator Zeelicious Food.
According to the organisers, PluggedIN aims to help creators transform their audiences, ideas and online influence into sustainable businesses through stronger commercial relationships and access to industry expertise.
Discussions at the event will cover content ownership, audience retention, brand partnerships and opportunities for creators to earn revenue beyond individual social media posts.
One panel, featuring Craze Clown, Jay On-Air, Kiekie and Winifred Nwania of Zeelicious Food, will examine the practical challenges of building sustainable creative businesses.
Another session, titled Beyond the Post: What Brands Really Want to Build with Creators, will bring together brand and advertising professionals to discuss how companies can develop long-term partnerships with creators through original content and integrated storytelling.
The initiative comes as Nigeria’s creator economy continues to expand, with social media platforms offering entertainers and digital entrepreneurs opportunities to reach wider audiences. However, turning online popularity into stable income remains a challenge for many creators.
Woof Studios Africa founder and creative director Adetutu Laditan said the partnership would help creators access brand relationships and production support needed to develop their ideas.
The event follows the inaugural PluggedIN gathering held in 2025 in partnership with YouTube. This year’s edition aims to encourage collaborations involving original formats, digital series, online communities and intellectual property.
The organisers expect the gathering to create opportunities for creators and businesses to build lasting commercial relationships within Nigeria’s growing digital entertainment industry.
